Our History
From a family of tea planters in Fujian province, Jiawei Lin(the person on the far left) is fourth-generation heir of Lin's Tea. Looking for more opportunities, my great-grandfather relocated our family early 20th century to Anji, Zhejiang. Although we originated from modest backgrounds, my great-grandfather was a master in traditional tea-making techniques. He chose leaves with great care and applied age-old methods to produce every batch, so maintaining the original flavor of the tea. Under the supervision of my father, our family's tea gained recognition both in Anji and outside. He kept the traditional methods and developed them to produce teas reflecting quality and heritage.As the fourth generation, I had the privilege of studying marketing and trade at Seneca College in Toronto, where I met my good friend Yan. Upon returning to China, we were eager to blend our rich traditions with fresh, modern ideas. This led us to co-found Lin's Tea, a brand dedicated to sharing premium Eastern teas with the world—a mission we hold close to our hearts.

In 1993, Lin's father established the local Chinese brand Minli Tea, officially promoting the tea tradition passed down from their ancestors to the entire country.
